Program Description: The aim of the programme is to train students to develop expertise in fundamental mathematical concepts, processes and teaching methods. The themes mainly include mathematical thinking and reasoning, methodologies, paradigms and complexity of learning mathematics. The Major Scientific Branches of the department are Algebra and Numbers Theory, Theory of Real and Complex Functions, Geometry, Fundamentals of Mathematics and Mathematical Logic, Applied Mathematics, Functional Analysis and Topology. The Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics is granted to a candidate, who has fulfilled the requirements of the undergraduate Mathematics curriculum, as well as satisfying the general requirements for this degree.

Program Description: The programme includes studies all kinds of interaction, change and transformation of energy and matter by using modern scientific methods.  The students have to participate in training programs for 45 working days at a public or private institution operating in the field of chemistry. Thus, it is intended to bring the students to understand and solve potential problems more accurately by giving them the opportunity to specialize in different areas of chemistry. Program Description: The Department of Biology consists of General Biology, Zoology, Botany, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Hydrobiology divisions. The aim of the department is to understand living organisms and live systems by encouraging scientific thinking and providing students theoretical knowledge and practice in the field of biology.  Students learn practical application of biology, and inspire interest in medical, environmental or other biological topics. The department offers curriculums of fundamental concepts of all areas of biology and biology education, whereby they will develop their abilities and attitudes for actively inquiring into new problems in biology and science education.
