Program Description: This program focuses on bringing students together with WIPO at international level and Turkish Patent at national level. Program’s aims; lack of expertise in both the public sector and the private sector in the field of intellectual property, to train lecturers in the field of Intellectual Property, to increase awareness of intellectual property by contributing to intellectual property education, reducing the lack of expertise that can use knowledge and create value in the field of R & D research and consultancy services both in the public sector and in the private sector on policy making, to achieve a dominant viewpoint on both the fields of intellectual property, innovation, and information management, which are interdisciplinary fields, while fulfilling all these aims, contributing to industry-university cooperation, to attract foreign researchers to Turkey and to create bridges with foreign organizations, to be the pioneer of double degree programs with international partners in the middle ward. Graduates will aware of the legal rules and dynamic structure and they adapt to the dynamism and the disciplinary nature of the area. National and international applications can be followed. As an intellectual property expert, she/he eliminates the expertise in the area.

Program Description: The program established for the aim of training qualified persons work in the sea and maritime law, master program focuses to graduate with master degree without thesis, for the ones graduated from law faculty or other faculties. During the program, depending on their performance, an opportunity of ‘master degree with thesis’ (LLM) will be provided to participants graduated from law schools and faculties in order to pursue them to continue PhD degree. For the others to apply for the master degree with thesis, the participation in the scientific preparation program is mandatory.  Although the program is intended for evening education, it could also be during working hours, in particular, to facilitate the participation of faculty members from abroad.

Program Description: The programme is based on analysing practical and theoretical means of mass communication and new media and the quantitative and social effects of their activities. In general this program focuses on the structure, function and effects of communicative action on persons and institutions through analysing the structure and function of the media. The objective of this program is to educate students who will be able to understand the basic concepts of communication, adopt a scientific approach, evaluate the relation between the media and the society using interdisciplinary means, identify the problems and find solutions for them. The program will mediate the recruitment of candidates oriented to different areas of the communications industry, such as journalism, public relations expertise or television production and it will also mediate the enrolment of candidates planning an academic career. Graduates of the programme will gain the ability to approach social communication through the mass media with a critical point of view, learn to develop research design in the field of social sciences, learn research methods and recognize basic research trends in the field of media and communication studies.

Program Description: The programme aims to develop the theoretical and practical aspects of water management and policies. The most important contribution of the Programme will be the availability of synthesized information gained from research results and data in various disciplines for the public and private sector decision and policy-makers. Water Policy and Security graduate program, will focus on engaging social sciences, natural sciences, legal institutions and stakeholders and provide them synthesized and analysed knowledge.  The objective of the proposed programme is to train students with necessary information and knowledge in order to contribute to sustainable water management and policies. The programme aims to bring together research teams from various disciplines, conduct interdisciplinary research and build up partnerships among policy makers, water professionals, academicians and students. The proposed program, also aims to educate future leaders on water policies and security issues and target to meet the needs of Turkish institutes human resources. The program also aims to educate students with an interdisciplinary approach on local, regional, national and international dimensions of water management issues and provide innovative solutions and implementation skills.
